Mentoring is a deliberate pairing of a protégé who is seeking specific advice or career storylines from a seasoned (often but not always senior) professional who has achieved their own career success and is willing/happy to share their achievements and stumbles with someone else who is ‘on their way’.
Facilitation includes teaching, training, imparting of tools, models, philosophies, research, approaches, systems and techniques selected to provide the client with additional resources to consider, learn about, try, test and refine for their specific requirements. All topics can be delivered virtually as well as in-person utilizing a facilitative coaching approach to delivery.
